ABOUT
Background
I started work as a graphic designer in 1996. But my love of business started long before then. As a girl, I can remember submitting invoices with itemized lists of chores, complete with company logo, to my (slightly) amused parents. Then, at an age when most girls hung out at the mall, I could be found browsing the aisles of the office supply store, dreaming of the day I could outfit my first office. I love business, and that love is most often expressed through design.
After graduating highschool I started to work as a freelance graphic designer. I continued designing throughout my college years until graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Graphic Communication. By then I had designed more than a dozen websites, including one for my own small enterprise, yearbookcovers.com, a business I sold a couple years later to a large yearbook publishing company.
I have a knack for building brands, from both a strategic and visual perspective. My clients and their products have been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah's O list, InStyle Magazine, People Magazine, the Big Idea with Donny Deutsch and more. Their products are carried in Whole Foods, Target, Smith & Hawken, Babies R Us and others.
